Prayer

How to Pray?

You talk to God just like you talk to mankind. But you talk with reverence and respect. It is good to get in a quiet place where you are not disturbed by noise or other distractions. Your focus should be on the ‘Supreme Being’ and the purpose for your Prayer. Some bow their head, put their hands together, and kneel when they pray. Some look up to the heavens with their arms and hands stretched toward the sky to pray. There is no wrong way to pray. It is recommended to start the day, daily task, meetings, or anything of importance with prayer. It is thought that this method would summon God’s angels to assist in your endeavors.

Our Beginning Prayer

Our ‘Beginning Prayer’ is from two (2) Scriptures . . . “The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1 (KJV) “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 (KJV) God go with me each and every day. I thank you for keeping me to see another day. Help me to stay focus on you and good things along the way. Guide me and show me how to overcome obstacles put in my way. God help others to be kind as well as me today. These are the things I surely pray. A-men!
