Bobby J is a young and very talented upcoming comedian who loves to entertain people. He started at a young age entertaining his brothers and sisters. Beginning his professional stand-up career in college in 2002, he quickly gained notoriety in St. Louis, Missouri and eventually, years later, in his hometown of Kansas City, Missouri. His first performance took place in front of well-known comedian Bruce-Bruce who assured Bobby J that comedy was his calling. Bobby J will have you rolling out of your seats from the time he hits the stage until he says goodnight. He instinctly knows how to slip in and out of character on stage with no problem, landing standing-ovations around the country. He is respected by all of his peers, loved by audiences, looked up to by his family. Bobby J frequently plays some of the country’s top comedy clubs and colleges across the country such as the Improv Comedy Clubs, FunnyBone Comedy Clubs, Jokes & Notes, Los Angeles Laugh Factory, Carolines, Uptown Comedy Club, Caroline’s, Comix, Stand Up New York, and the Gotham Comedy Club. He has opened for comedians Mike Epps, Katt Williams, Damon Wayans, Bruce-Bruce, Tony Rock, Adele Givens, Bill Bellamy, Eddie Griffin, Kevin Hart and more. You can also catch his act as he plays clubs, colleges, and concerts across the country. Bobby J has also appeared on TV ONE’s Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes. Bobby J is currently making guest appearances on the Rickey Smiley and Kevin Hart comedy tour.
